This is amazing by the way. Huge appreciation for those that have spent time building this for the rest of us! It runs perfectly in my 991.2 Turbo S
Has anyone found a way to change the map in the gauges to AA?

By "gauges" if you mean in the cluster, no, the map information that is displayed there is only from the OEM NAV program.

If I want to only be able to activate Android Auto in my 991.2 (2018) do I need to download the AIO file for that or the original matching MIB firmware?
My concern is not messing else up. For example, the GT2RS logo that the screen starts up with.
Thank you

AIO doesn’t change the boot logo... AIO updates the firmware level, and enables both AA and CP. Have you read the OEM Navigation update thread?

Are there any files available to just update the firmware for a PCM ? I don’t need AIO, but can’t update navigation maps beyond 2018 because I have old firmware.

Can I do all this by just downloading the newest file (the 1.7GB one), unpacking to the root folder of FAT32 SD card, removing the underscore for it to autorun upon insertion, and then running the fix command from the engineering menu? Is that literally it?

Why wouldn't you want the firmware version to be updated via AIO? This process brings the PCM to the latest release and enables the ability to update the maps to those currently available.
