Dropped off my Turbo today at our excellent local indy shop. Nice 992 Turbo S was also there, same color as mine. I haven't seen too many of these in person yet, a few pictures comparing the two strictly from a cosmetic perspective.
Now don't get me wrong, I'd take a 992 Turbo S in a nano-second over my 991, but I think the 991 is a more attractive car, at least from certain angles.
Sadly, the Aerokit (Sport Design on the 992 Turbo] is no longer available with frontal winglets in Black. I prefer the Aerokit in Black of my 991.2 911 Turbo...
I agree the 991 is much better looking than the 992. It looks like they made the side inlets smaller, and we're all going for the larger GT3RS look. The only thing I like is they deleted the headlight washers, a feature I have never used. I'll be keeping my 991TTS.

I agree the 991 is more attractive. Something about the squarish look ....it doesn't feel classic to me. The rounded look of the 991 reminds me of the 911 heritage, and it looks like the 992 is the first step in moving away from it. Like with all things, change is inevitable and I expect we will all have no choice but to get used to it.

Fun fact, the last year of the 991 TT/TTS is 2019, and the headlight washers were eliminated that year.
My brief take on design - overall like the 991.2 the best.......
992 rear end too bulky and busy looking
front end too heavy or clunky looking - Sport Design Option makes it better looking
side skirts have pointed edge as you get to rear wheels.......too Supra like....
the hood creases look good versus 991
side intakes are proportionately too small - probably due to larger wheel space needed in the rear fender
interior design is too Audi, Mercedes like......more mainstream......the shifter is ........we know......
As far as 991.1 versus 991.2 designs.....I happen to like the front end of the 991.2 versus 991.1.....don't like the eyelash effect.....like the rear light shapes better too versus the rounded edges.......in the interior, don't like the steering wheel with the bigger round center in the point one........I like the point one wheels better as every other spoke connects at the rim......
Hmm, must have been at Blue Chip. 992 rear end is terrible, interior is terrible, front end I could live with. At this point I'll hang onto my 991. JMHO
I'm assuming that others have found the back of the 992 TTS bloated. As looks are ALWAYS in the eye of the beholder, I think the 991 hit the sweet spot. That's just my opinion. Those who agree with me are right, of course....

White or Metalic white? I'm so doing the Aero kit after the engine mods, that is hot. Did you do the rear diffuser in black? Can I have a rear and side picture, please?

My 2017 911 Turbo is Carerra White Metallic, with Black/Bordeaux Red Leather interior, with >$45k of options. It has a full car PPF that was applied when new. Bought it in October, 1 owner. 4.5 years old, 13.5 k miles, with all service complete by Porsche West Broward, and 4th year service completed 6 months ago.
My only exterior cosmetic changes so far, are clear side-markers, and lighter window tint. .
Shown is the dark window tint on it, as I purchased. I did change the tint to 70% ceramic nano-tech tint on all windows, plus a 4-5 inch top tint on top of my 70% windshield tint.
