Yeah, those aftermarket wheels are PRICEY!!

I'd love to have a set of light weights but I doubt I'll have the coin for that for a While!!

Spare black set would be nice. Did the same thing on my 997.2TTS with a black set. Selling them this wk. I hope.

Thank you!! These current wheels have grown on me a lot!!

Don't get me wrong, I loved the 997.2 TTS also. It had a more traditional size / shape for a 911.
However, for the confidence and handling this 991.2 TTS provides in the mountains (and I'm SURE on track), I'd certainly rather be in this one.

Yeah, still have American 1/4 mile record at 8.51 ET. I still have World 1/4 mile trap record of 175mph. Hoping to get back to 1/4 mile soon and get the ET lower. Just couldn't get traction that day and get the 60 ft down to where I could hit 8.3. Power is there, though.

Absolutely Amazing!!

I'm so jealous.....

BTW, you heard the new TESLA Model S Plaid is supposed to be a high 8's car?? That just doesn't seem fair!!
Not for only $140K.

Not a "real" car to me though... Will never replace what a combustion engine Porsche (or any other super car) will do to my Soul.

Yes, saw that. SICK! An incredible bargain. I agree, not ready to give up my combustion engines yet. Need the sounds, the smell of E85, the soul...

I agree... Amazing accomplishment from first supercharger and first (in-house) production Tesla to this in eight years, and yes, something is definitely still missing.

For me, perhaps even more than sound and smell is that they are just not very good looking and have very little visual differentiation between an eight year old ho-hum Model S to the "Plaid" supercar. Boring colors, boring wheels, boring 'details', boring shape, anything-but-boring performance.

You think they could use some of that $380 Billion market cap to hire a Frank Stephenson level designer that could take that performance and match it with a truly gorgeous design... If they did that, I might be willing to give up the sound, and definitely would be willing to give up the smell!

As I said on another forum, I don't understand what target Tesla are trying to hit here. Hardcore EV fanboys with $150K in their pocket, I guess?

And not just that, it's supposed to be self-driving. Let that sink in.
