Funny thing height is - used to be all for it, now, it doesn't seem quite right.

That's awesome that you still get out there and get it done!!
I only hope to be that fit in my 70's.

I can't believe I put another 13K miles on the 991 TTS since I bought it 5/4/20, but they were all fantastic!

Such a random mileage to document! lol
I just wished I could drive some of those awesome CO roads with that scenery sometime. I love it out there.

I'm 77 and still enjoying the heck out of my 991.2 Turbo with a few mods. Had an Office job and no motorcycles. Wife said 50 years ago go have your Porsches but leave the motorcycle riding to others.
My lowered Turbo is fun to drive. But it is definitely harder to get out and standing up in my tight garage and with 13 XXW athl shoes and the Eibach mild lowering springs.
Worth it tho. It's just for events and sunny day blasts, but I've put over 5000 miles on it in 11 months.

Wish we could live our life in reverse. By the time you get to the age where you can afford a car like this, age creeps in to take some of the fun out of it.
Only thing I would say is with age comes wisdom along with the aches and pains. If I was 20 and took the chances I did then, I probably would have wrecked the car by now or worse.
I also wake up with those old Motocross racing injuries coming back to haunt me. Neck, knees, back. I've noticed it's getting tougher to motivate myself to undertake major mods myself on it. I certainly pay the price the next morning for the body contortions to wrench things under the car. Funny how the dopamine still kicks in on the first drive after though...

I do miss the motorcycles and track days, but my body just can't do it anymore.

Agreed.. I have several old motorcycle / motocross injuries / surgeries and I feel them every single day. Being a larger / heavier guy and wearing 30 lbs. of uniform / gear daily just makes it worse.

I just put brand new PS4S's on my original (silver / gray) set of wheels last week, so I decided to try something different and buy the Conti ExtremeContacts like I bought for my S2K on my Black set of wheels for the TTS.
I really liked the handling of the Conti's on my S2K. Let's hope they work as well on my TTS.
Doing a wknd trip to the Tail of the Dragon in a couple weeks, so I think I take the black set with Conti's to see.
