Default Firmware Updated

Guys, BMS just release a firmware update. Continued refinement of their product. This is another reason why BMS is so great.

The update took about 3-4 minutes and was fairly painless and self explanatory. New firmware releases can be found here: https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58232

I have also attached the .hex files to this post.

Thanks Todd!

For anyone who ordered within this past week you don't need to worry about this update.
You all have the most recent firmware preloaded before getting shipped out

Hey guys,

So I went ahead and installed the OBD2 cable from BMS. My gauges in my app are reading and I am pretty happy with the install. Sorry I do not have photos of the installation but if you follow the instructions provided you will do just fine. I did use some harbor freight trim pry tools to help. All the wiring is tucked neatly under panels and completely unseen. The install was kind of a pain, especially in the rear making sure the wires were tucked away neatly. Basically as I am 6'2" tall spending 30 min in the back of my turbo was not very pleasant.

I installed from the OBD2 plug back to the engine. So the last thing I had to do was route the cable through the synthesizer tube and plug it in to the JB4. The tube removes easy enough with a firm squeeze and pull. Also since the cable is so thin and the tube is plastic I was able to reconnect the synthesizer with the cable running through it.

Get the PS4's unless you are set on Cup2's . I used to get consistent 2.5-2.6 on a regular street at 700whp. Best no compromise tire for the car. My 0-60 with the same garbage n0 pirellis was the same as yours, just swapping to ps4's made it a totally different car in both ride quality, noise and more importantly traction, you car will consistently do 2.5-2.7 just by doing the tire swap.

Hi. Is this stock? I think you have a boost leak or another issue. That slope is not ideal but regardless this time makes no sense. That's less than 500hp.

Was the "something being off" ever identified or fixed?
