My observations on TTS vs TT, accurate ?
In the market for a turbo coupe upgrade , currently have a 4s cab with pse
1) test drove a 2015 TTS coupe , very fast , felt it had great acceleration, no lag and sound was ok. Ride was great , probably due to PDCC compared back to back with a 2019 s cab
2) test drove a 2017 tt cab and a 2015 tt cab , both felt good but not as good as 2015 tts in terms of that acceleration rush , little lag where I could feel when turbos kicked in and ride little bumpy on avg roads 3) test drove a 2017 turbo S and it felt fast similar to 15 turbo s , but difference was sound and had that explosive acceleration rush just like the 15 tts . TT and Tts May be same 0 to 60 but accelaration from slow speed, stop light was more intense in the TTs. The turbo whooshes etc were more noticeable in the 2017 tts compared to all other turbos I drove , the sound was very satisfying . I don’t like test drives much due to sales pressure etc but that is the only way to check these cars out . I am writing here because 911 turbo owners with more real experience will be able to help give feedback on my observations before I decide
Thank you for your time

Buy the Cobb AP for the TT. The HP gain will get you almost to the TTS level. The torque increase will solve any turbo lag you might be noticing. Add a Kline exhaust and you will sound sweet plus some more ponies.

2014-2016 991.1TT/S = smaller turbos with quicker spool but less top in pull (the low end torque and pull makes it feel very quick off line / corners)
2017-2019 991.2 TT/S = larger turbos and more over all hp. Slightly slow spool but bigger top in rush.
Sound ? Forget the stock exhaust sound and buy a Europipe and NEVER look back. (perfect fit / perfect sound)
More power from either = Cobb AP with an OTS stg.2 tune....991.2's will respond with more "gained" WHP.

I had a 991.2 TT and really liked it- but after having PCCB in my GT3 I'd go with PCCB on a TTS, most likely.

Thanks for the feedback. Does the 991.1 tts std exhaust have pops, gurgles and overruns?

Just install, and enjoy the new added power!
