Seeing Paul's pics reminded me I didn't post ours here from a couple weeks ago....
We had a meet up and drive in North GA but a few of us decided to make it a DAY, so we drove to the Tail of the Dragon and surrounding area.
We ended up being gone 18 hours, Drove 3 States, and 560 Miles!!!........This was on Saturday after I'd done 200+ plus to continue the Break-In of the 2SS1LE on Friday.

Not without new rear tires.. Love the little surprises.. No not yet, just keeping my options open. Still can't wrap my head around letting her go.. Winter is upon us and it'll be going into hibernation soon. Hopefully I come to my senses by spring.

Ohhhhh, down to the chords!
The 996 is going to bed soon, 991 will go all winter.

I'm sure it's be fine with the right tires. I had a Macan Turbo I drove for a while in the winter, it wasn't too bad. I just bought a Mazda CX-50 Turbo, so that will be my winter sacrificial vehicle. 😁 Plus we're at 9300' elevation so ground clearance would always be an issue in the 991.
