First I went and retrieved my stupid Gwagon that decided midnight after a NIN concert at Red Rocks was the perfect time for crank-no-start, and of course it started first try in the morning:



Then I went out to HPR and hang out with another turbo 991:



All in all a good day. Easily put 200 miles on the TTS, and while I wasn’t registered for the BMW club driving school, I did get to do some parade laps on the shorter HPR config. Also got some passenger laps with my instructor buddy in his GT2RS - what a car and what a driver. Less than two weeks from now I’ll have my car out at the Virginia City Hill Climb (which said buddy with the GT2RS holds the record at for years now…) - but he’s bringing his wife’s new Mach1 instead, so my goal is to simply be around as fast up the hill as he is in a heavier naturally aspirated car with less horsepower.

Started taking it apart to do the mods. This is how far I got, before it was too hot.

Decided to enjoy a few suds and polish the tow hook. Didn't like the aftermarket hooks and always liked polish metal. This is a first clean up. Needs some more finer grit sanding and polishing. But like how the look better then the cast steel painted black look.

Replaced the factory painted wing with carbon fiber one. Now mirrors, side skirts, side air intakes and wing all match.

Lol... you might need a few more Porsches so that polishing tow hooks never makes it to the top of the list! Does look good though.

Tried to drive mine on Saturday - started her up - back right tire completely flat. Something added to the to-do list for this week on top of the cracked windshield on the Defender which happened on Thursday night. Perspective though
