If I am not mistaken, and am prepared to be corrected, I do believe the drag resistance of orange markers is considerably higher than that of clears.
Could be the issue...

Just spent 3 days in NC driving some awesome roads and met some great people.
Low traffic mountain roads are the best, but you never know what could be around the next corner....
All 991 Turbos are fast. Stage IV is close to scary fast. Stage IV in a narrow, dark, damp tunnel struggling for traction is borderline terrifying

We were up there too this Wknd! I'll have some pics to post as well..
We also had a BIG mountain Tree and Rock and Dirt slide that totally blocked the road we were on.
Great time...

Little Two day (Sat. Sun) trip to the Tail of the Dragon this past weekend. Large group and the pace was mild-ish.
Just a few vids shot by my friend Jeff from his Cayman (with his GF that got sick earlier and threw up all in his car...lol )
Nothing special but you can see the huge Land Slide that blocked the whole road we were on until they cleared the outside lane for us.
