Next weeks weight loss mod arrived. These babies are L I G H T .....I’m dying to find out what the factory wheels weigh to get the net loss in rotational weight. Low side is 16Lbs. High side is 22Lbs.

Forgive me if I missed it above, but what seats are you using?

Do you have the Bose or Burmester?

I ordered with Bose since Porsche Brochure stated the BM added 15lbs with the bigger Amp. I actually like the Bose (but I'm not a music Connoisseur, BM is superior). I enjoy listening to the Kline more. Pure Stock seats. Not changing those. Trying to "lightweight" the TTS like OEM would as an option....that's the goal. Ordered it light. Deleted Sunroof, BM, Vent seats, etc. Pure stock with a Full tank of fuel is 3570lbs. Now with Kline, Braille 50Ah, GT3 seat delete kit it's 3502Lbs with a full tank. Wheels will drop it to 3,478 or 3486 depending on the stock wheel weight. TTS responds VERY well to weight drop. 1/8th is now 0.07 quicker and 1mph faster.

This is a pretty interesting and entertaining thread. On display are folks' different motivations and creativity within that framework. Some folks figure the Porsche engineers already have built one of the fastest cars on the planet, so why mess with it? Other folks enjoy making that car even faster and badass, regardless of the cost of truthfully marginal performance increments; maybe that car will see the track, maybe not. Other folks are building out true racecars that will be held to series rules, with a minimum weight requirement, rendering almost all of what is mentioned in this thread illegal and irrelevant. To each, their own. Interesting as hell to hear what folks are doing, though. Keep it up!
