Aha! Didn't know that silver restricts you. Good to know. I'm planning on going the silver route if I get my hands on a GT4...

Nice work. More pics from outside the car showing the bar through the front and rear windows from further away, please!

Did you get the sub bars also? If you did, adjust the center belts before you put the seats back in the car

Your install turned out really nice. Congrats, I love it when a plan comes together. You did it in record time....

Did the bar install yesterday w/ a friend.
Install took approx 5 hrs, but could have been quicker if the bar width was not about an inch too narrow! We had to use a C Clamp to draw the front feet to attach to the support brackets...now have some scratches at the bar feet.
My bar will not go in and out "in an hour for a road trip" as advertised.

Now that you have the process down I bet you could do it in an hour, you will however still need the help of a buddy. The hookup of the front brackets went much faster the second time around.

sounds like we aren't the only one with alignment mis-match...
I wonder if the brackets could have slots rather than single holes to aid the install?

This is VERY different than what I experienced. An inch is quite a bit to be off. Is it possible the bar was somehow bent during transport? Mine were a perfect fit and based on my discussions with Colin, the manufacturing process should be pretty consistent.
