Na...kinda boring

Hard to get upset over some random guy selling his allocation for 45k over to an acquaintance that approached him about it. A lot of Rennlisters would probably do the same. Now if he told us about what a blow-out deal it was and was doing this all the time....

Is it related to the Chocolate Starfish ? If so, it's in the same genus as the OP's goal.

In the end the value of any car is directly tied to the condition, ease of acquisition and how it is specced. The OP car has a few options making it an outlier from the 911R crowd.

I have a GT silver RS with steel brakes on my lot and some people have no interest. Funny.

Some track only type guy's only want steel. Brakes / nose lift / seat choice are for some guys zero tolerance - they only want it their way.

Well it doesn't have LWBs. But it does have seat heating.

Think you meant to quote CJ Wilson. Though I could see how you mixed us up considering we both have excellent taste in cars

Yeah, I'm one of those nutters....to me a PCCB brakes have negative value as I have to spend extra to put on steel rotors. Besides, $10k buys a lot of brake pads and tires.

Ironically I bought it as a trade on a 911R I was selling. Correct does not have LWB. Makes most sense to someone who loves to drive a lot but mainly road miles

Do you think there are many/any people who actually paid $600k for an R?

I'll bet only a handful of these cars have even changed hands to date, and the prices were probably in the range of $325k to $425k. And I'd go further and say, for all of those buyers, the $125-225k premium they paid is the equivalent of loose change in their couch cushions.

Yah I do and doesn't matter if you have $1 million or $100 million in the bank - $225,000 is a fortune unless of course you have MC Hammer financial goals.

Haha.. will be interesting to see if he gets the same warm reception he got here. So who is this "AMG USA" serial flipper who gets access (or pretends to) to all the limited Porsche's, and then brazenly flips them?
