Well mine is supposed to lock on 6/22 (July build; end of August arrival) so I guess that's going to be shifted.... it's all good. Patience is a virtue.

Did Porsche update the PVMS on your car? What were your original dates?
I am told that my PMVS should be updated in a couple days. I suspect my build date will change from July 21st to sometime in September.

Why the delay? Thats the hundred million dollar question! Production related or technical (problem with engine?)?

I think if it was an engine technical problem, the delay would be worldwide (not just for US cars). Sounds more like an EPA/DOT thing to me...

PVMS was updated. Original build date was 9/3, dealer delivery 11/3, now delivery is 11/10.

Delay seems to be inserting GT2 in the production line.

So your delivery date only changed by 7 days? I am being told my delivery date in December has not changed (October build).

The delay was for early production vehicles and was many models, not just the GT3.

According to the PVMS my July 21st delay is one week just as others have received. But the more I think about it the less confidence I have that is accurate. It's going to be a longer delay. Porsche would not have issued that bulletin over a one week delay.

Delay is to refit car with smaller turbo'd engine. Better sales in Chinese market.

Careful, they might do articles based on your post. You never know, lol. This is how "True" news gets out.
