I took the factory tour today. There were five gt3 parked out front - two carmine red, two carerra white and one chalk. But as we toured the assembly building, I could see through the windows that parked out back was a new gt3 in some kind of light green. I normally love green 911, but this one was hideous (unless it's yours in which case it's beautiful). It was kind of an asparagus looking color. So maybe they are doing pts gt3s already or maybe it's a new factory color or something. I thought some people might be interested. Also, I didn't see even 1 gt3 being assembled on the production line.

And speaking of of beautiful green 911s, The millionth 911 was at the museum today and they were letting people drive it as part of the Porsche Drive program. Pretty cool.

None. They were all behind the gates on the tour and they confiscate your phone. But I have a picture of me with 911 number 1,000,000.

No cameras or phones allowed on the factory tour. I think it is a good idea. Want your tour spoiled by a bunch of *** hats taking selfies with the production workers?
Instructions were very clear. Do not talk to them and don't even think about helping them. And step aside when the un manned vehicles come buy.

On our tour there was a guy who repeatedly stepped in front of the robots "to see if they would stop." It freaked out our guide, who had earlier told us she was giving her first tour in english.
The guy crashed his day old RS the next day on the ring.

Yes, my wife almost refused to go on the tour because they were taking our phones. But I reminded her that it was 3am back home, nobody would be calling.
In the end she really enjoyed the tour and thought it was worth while.

Definitely not that color. It was not metallic and it was much lighter. And inkey looking. It was next to another 911 that was not a gt3 and it was dark gold and metallic and equally ugly. Not yellow or brown, but like 24k gold. They also had a lava orange cab with a burgundy top, so maybe it was ugly car day at the factory or something.
