Yes. Just getting started in that direction. Serrendipitous hobby started by the wildfire, but now that I've dropped a couple GT3's worth of $$ on tools, need to start recouping some CapEx. PM me if interested.

Ya, that is some mighty fine tight ringage.....effin love it...
I am torn between a simple water-based clear sealant and full-on epoxy. I'll probably do both. Not a big fan of toxics in my house, but the market really likes what people are doing with epoxy and live edge.

My wife's grandfather, told me to use Tung oil in the 80's when I was restoring a maple rocker.
Just built (three years ago) a redwood slab dining room table (42 x 104) and was gonna use epoxy, but a cousin of mine (who is a furniture builder, high end) told me to use.....tung oil. So I did. I've only resealed it once in three years but from what I know I'm supposed to reseal it every year. It gets used quite a bit.
Paid 500 for the slab up in Occidental, 300 for the steel legs on Etsy, and about 200 in sandpaper and oil. And about two to three weeks, an hour here couple hours there, to complete.....
Cant load pics from my Mac for what ever reason right now....
since we're discussing value of porsches.. i thought I'd chime to mention that I probably crashed a 993 over 30-40 times last weekend.. into a snow bank at the arctic circle. i attended Kalmar Automotive's ice-driving school in Finland, where we had specially prepped Porsches on 27mm metal stud WRC spec tires. Unlike most schools where "preserve the car" is all you hear.. here, it was "go past your limits, that's the only way you will learn". truly great instructors, amazing grip from these very special tires, met some special people and i must say, i learned a lot about driving sideways on ice.
made a little video and a few pics of us trashing the value of these classic 911's.

Beauty! So its true what they say a 3 pedal car is the best anti-theft device LOL
I know you like it, but I'm still surprised by this mileage. Really that much better than 991 eh?
Is the high mileage a gauge of how truly great the 992 GT3 is as a sports car and pure performance machine, or is the high mileage proof that the 992 GT3 is a great Grand Touring car that begs to be taken on long journeys due to its comfort and supple ride characteristics??? LOL
