I don't stereotype
GT or performance ==> car
chinese, koren America mexian cruisine ==> food
formal , not formal clothing ==> I am often in lycra or ripped oil covered shirt and pants in broad mtg. you don't like that, you are fired.

if it's good, tis' good.

Don't take my post to heart Mooty, it was just my very lame attempt at a joke.

Your approval of the 992 GT3 speaks volumes...I need to drive one.

Curious to hear what folks on this forum think of the GT4 RS, esp. compare to the 992 GT3?

Rented a GT4 RS at the Nurburgring in September and chased / drove with my friend in his 992 GT3. The GT4 RS felt like my old 991.2 GT3 did, just with slightly more neutral balance and slightly more simple suspension (no RWS) which is exactly what it is. Really fun car. The 992 GT3 was more refined and had higher limits particularly through the bumpier sections like heading down into Fuchsröhre. The GT4 had some secondary/tertiary suspension movements that were a bit unsettling at speed while the GT3 felt completely planted. Either car is a blast but the GT3 is definitely a more advanced package.

I would love to own both for different reasons but think the GT3 is a far more advanced platform if you are a capable enough driver to get the best of it (e.g. Mooty). I think most folks don't prefer it because it is a little stiff for cars and coffee.

I do think its damping will be improved on the 992.2 and will retain its excellent high speed capabilities while taking the edge off back road bumpsteer. I am enjoying mine though.

hahah well written
no, I am at best using 10% of gT3 capability.
anyone think they are more than 10%, let me tell you, they are GROSSLY wrong.
I rode with factory drive. his 5/10 was my 100/10...
one handed, asked me where we go for dinner. passes every car on track...
wasn't anywhere near limits zero steering correction "its your car, I don't want to mess it up for you"

but to your point.... the chassis suspension on 992, the f wishbones and RWS now dialed....

100%. I like what I like and don’t apologize for it. Porsche, yes I like. 5170p yes, I only have one life to live and the time is now. I will never have another today and it took a lot of years to get to this point. Cheers!

GT3/RS = more serious, „better“ complete car
GT4 RS = more fun, playful, loud inside, more connectet feel
