I know the levers are there. but it's for decoration only no?
I can't remember were my shoes are half the time and I never use brakes so SRAM all the way for me. Then again, some are really into single speed thing. Not me.

Crit racing back in the day. Riding a Klein Quantum Pro. My best year, I was 43 and trained like a maniac. Did the Hotter’n Hell 100 mile race in 3:55. The older you get, the faster you were.

I'm no coffee artist, but having lots of fun making more sawdust the past couple weeks. The 911 to do list isn't getting any shorter while playing with wood. The Adirondack is clear heart redwood, wildfire killed, milled, kiln dried, and design-on-the-fly. A dozen more now in the queue. The Doug Fir table is from an old growth log also killed in the 2020 CZU fire, from the state park nearby. 260 years old. The growth rings are soooooo tight, the grain almost washes out entirely in these photos. Waiting for moisture content to stabilize around 10% or so before finishing. The large check down at the far end is stabilized underneath by a steel plate let in from below. Overall dimensions 90" x 32" x 3" thick. We decided to quick prototype the legs in Doug Fir. Probably box steel legs on next iteration. Two more slabs from the same log in the planing and sanding queue.
