Exactly where I went!
Sunrise highway from there to Mt. Laguna is my go-to.

Looking forward to seeing the Monoblocks on your GT3 if you still have them on order. Your stock wheels look so good though.

For you espresso lunatics (of which there appear to be many here) - i have a line on what sounds like a lightly used Marzocco GS3 MP. It is 5 yrs old, and owned by a friend of a friend who sounds like he obsessively tended to it. I have been thinking about it, or a new Linea Mini. Just getting into this, so still novicey, but figured might as well buy a long term keeper.
Working on new grinder at moment as well. Hope to secure deposit on early 2023 build this wkend.
Thanks

I love my Linea Mini. I've had it for 3 years now. Unlike my previous machine, the thing is an absolute tank. Be sure to get the upgraded wand - it's more pleasant to use. Lots of aftermarket support and upgrades - it's also easy to maintain and service. A well maintained GS3 will last forever and I had considered going to one, but I couldn't see the advantage over my Linea Mini.
For grinders I have a Mahlkonig e65sGBW grind by weight. It's a total game changer. Expensive, but it grinds out the exact amount of coffee you need with the built in scale. Super easy, especially in the morning. It's also built like a tank.

Oh I like that grinder. I have a mazzer electronic single dose for many, many years (on 3rd or 4th set of burrs).... I can't do single dose grinding like a kafatek requires, I'm too lazy. But I like this grinds with weight and I can keep the beans in the hopper... And we don't have overhead cabinets so I have all the space needed for BIG MACHINES lol.
I guess like my cars I don't change espresso gear too much :-)
My machine is maybe 15 years old huge boiler e61 heat exchange machine, very simple analog like driving an old 911, sometimes you get that corner right, sometimes you don't. And just alike an old 911 its simple to fix when a valve or pump goes out... so it just keeps running... and running.... 1000's of shots over the years.
For me, the upgrade machine would be the LMLM over the GS3. Simple is good. If you want to tweak every last variable all the time and not actually enjoy the coffee... get the GS3 or the slayer home machine.
