Chris encouraged me to share some pics and my experience with my new 488 GTB on here, just took delivery on Monday and Tuesday did an epic drive from SF to LA
The car is incredible, a bit more grand tourer than the sharper and more scalpel like GT3. So on corners, twists and turns the GT3 feels more capable, planted, and sharp. Lighter, more nimble, tossable. But this car redefines what fast feels like for me, just feathering the throttle I am getting smacked in the seat. Noise is fantastic. And really enjoying the exotic experience for my first supercar/Fcar, just so different from the 911s across the board
Thanks for sharing some epic roads Chris - this drive I did 101 to 58 to I5. Was planning on 33 south from 58 (33 is one of my all time favorite roads), but just ran out of time. First time doing 58 and it was heaven. 33 feels like ACH on steroids to me, but 58 was so diverse through canyons and then some flats with oscillations, amazing changes in scenery with pristine roads. And best part is it feels like it never ends. Beautiful weather for the drive, and saw 10-15 people get pulled over by CHP so I'm grateful I was not one of them!
Sam, beautiful car! One picture of sushi (even from Trader Joe's) would keep your post relevant!! I'm pdxjim488 on that other forum.

Thanks fellas, Porsche is my first love and thankfully still have a 911 in the garage but it's fun to branch out and try something new. Add in CA's roads = heaven!
Sunday drive... met a highly modified Cooper S and a lotus exige... it's not what you drive, but how much fun you are having. we had fun up on the canyon, nothing crazy and thumbs up to everyone
Flew to my home country to pick up my 2nd RS. 4 days later and 1,200kms of driving and some unbelievable food, I now fly back to Europe while RS goes into save keeping until my nest trip.
000 decided to send box early so you have a place to store the books

^ it's my experience that 95% of the population just "talk" a lot. few actually "do" much. just watch today's kids. I tell my kids "you know where my painter's tape are. if you can't stop talking, put the tape over your mouth, if it's that important to say, write me an essay"... suddenly I filtered out all the gibberish... I digress...
majority of ppl simply don't understand quality... look at all the GT3RS we are buying. it's all cheap plastic and we wax lyric over what is essentially landfill.... ha...
