Don’t let him fool you, he stuck that le crueset pan in there so his wife wouldn’t let him cook again ;-)
that technique works but stick an old cast iron one in there.

I tried telling him that. This was clearly a ploy to
get his wife to say "Here; give me that!!!!"

Ok serious question.

Ship cars to europe. Likely Barcelona.
Drive north and coastal Spain
north italy
amd southern france
say 2 weeks maybe 2k miles of driving.
i May never come home. Can keep car for 6mo no duty
shipping based on some initial checks about 2k
insurance call it 1k
hotel budget and fuel will be exoensive
Beer and food cheep
i know of a top Porsche shop in Barcelona
and of course lots of great food and restaurants and hotels.
Land amazing roads.

Who Ho would be in.

Oh, old cars. Only old cars :-)

I've been wanting to do smth like this too. 05 is old now. We could also compare shipping costs with vs renting Boxsters there. This could also easily be a late fall or early spring (even winter) trip -- same great weather with lower tourist traffic and hotel prices.

What's the Porsche shop on Barcelona? (PM is fine too). I've been spending some time in Barcelona lately, probably much more going forward.
