Engine is great, so it can't be that. Damping, spring rate, steering feel?

I get it. My butt can feel it in the first 5min behind the wheel of a new car (new or new-to-me). It either does it for me or it doesn't. The "doesn't" gets sold quickly.

LOL. I think the .2 suspension is much better. Steering feel similar. What don't you like mooty? Is it all about rubbery stick?

the .2 GT3 he drove was probably lacking the sandwich shelf.
or the deviated stitching was not to his taste.

while i don't think i'd buy one, i wouldn't mind driving a manual 991.2 GT3 just to see how it compares to 997.2

I think a .2 is usually going to be a tough comparison to a .1 of the same generation, because while it is better, it isn’t THAT much better. It feels too familiar. If the .2 was the .1 and it was compared to the 997.2 i think people would be a lot more blown away. That doesn’t mean the .2 isn’t the best GT3 of this generation, but expectations are higher if you have owned a .1 previously.

Looking forward to the 992!

Its night and day and i'm not as sensitive to car feel as mooty. You immediately feel the chassis differences, steering, suspension, motor. It's quite different. Probably similar to the difference to a 997.1 to 997.2. Even tho to me the chassis feels pretty similar with those (not 40, different animal)

I'll save you the hassle:
super precise
worse but excellent steering feel (for EPS)
much higher level confidence inspiring
less emotion
feels so solid and stable, less movement
fast as hell
less mechanical / tactile sensation
Good car, but I wouldn't sell a 997 for one. Add yes.

.2 GT3 is SIGNIFICANTLY better than .1 GT3 HUGE.
but i only kept .1GT3 30 days i think.
maybe the one i drove had bad seat didnt form to my butt the way i like.
i choose cars with my butt.
