Put the originals with the horrid stripe in a plastic bag for when you sell the car. $8500 is crazy money unless you absolutely must have OEM custom CXX touches to be "factory correct" and/or 1 of 1 for some personal reason. To me, it's just a car, and already stupid expensive for my resources and use, though I do like to customize a vehicle to my own tastes and have always done so, in the old-time "hot-rod" tradition. Like CME, it cost me less than $1K to put pepita inserts in my 991 GT3.
