Nice build.
I didn't know that the 918 one piece buckets were an option for the 991.1 GT3, I thought it was for the RS only. Good to know.

I am debating ceramic brakes since my exterior is RY or I can pay to have them painted by a local vendor. Not sure if they are worth it.

It is a tough decision. I am going to get them. Have them on my GT4 and I think they are ridiculously good. When I was in Atlanta, at their new Campus, I drove both to test if I felt a difference and I did. May be mental.

The plus- I love having no brake dust. How many times I would wash my car because of the brake dust was stupid and now I wash my car far less and I do not even get any thing on my finger after a tank of gas when I swipe it

Now - are the Steel good?? They are very good so you just have to decide if you are willing to part with the money understanding you will probably not get it back when you sell unless privately to some one who wants them on your car

Love everything except the PDK...I have PDK 991.1 GT3 and 6 speed GT4....
If I had a do-over I would get a loaded 6 speed GT3 with PCCB's and 991.2 RS stripper with steels.
White with silver is classic!
Black wheels are everywhere (I have them on my GT3 though!).
White dials a must.
LWB's a must.
RED brakes + RED stitching and RED belts (I think you skipped?) = winner

JUST MHO

Jimmy, good points. I am going to test drive a turbo S for comparison. FWIW, I drove the various cars in Atlanta and to be honest do not know if they had ceramic brakes or not. I guess that says something.

OP sharp build , I second red belts , and would add leather option around steering wheel, adds nice red thread promenitly finishes drivers side dash .

it is almost Identical to my .1 build minus lift , still loving mine without regret .

Thanks for the suggestion. Does the Guard Red belt match the red stitching? I don't want 2 shades of red, which is why I opted out.

Thanks for the feedback, looks like I better add the red belt. Will think about the column area in leather, I was trying to keep this build right at $160k. It gets hardware and harder, LOL.

I thought about that too, but I want to be able to clearly see the Tach Red Lines. Will look at more photos before making a final choice.

agree with everyone that red belts are a must if getting red stitching on interior.

One thing you should know that because of the TFT gauge (which is electronic), when you order a color for your gauges, only 4 of the 5 comes as white, red, etc, and so the look is rather unbalanced to my eyes.
I love white gauges too and had them on my 987 and 997, but I didn't order them on my 991 GT3 for that 4 out of 5 reason, and I still prefer the stock 991 GT3 gauges to the off balanced look of some white some not, due to the electronic TFT guage in the 991 cars.

Why is everyone getting the extended fuel tank? My SUV has less capacity than the extended fuel tank.

Isn't 16.9 gallons sufficient?
