Oh thank goodness, gives me more time to hustle to save more pennies for a next GT4/GT4RS.

Seems like the UK and US markets are undersupplied with GT cars.

I can understand why the RHD market gets less cars because of the complicated and more expensive production.
Is US DOT cars more expensive for Porsche to make?
We all know that we can't get Clubsport package because of US lawyers. But, is there anything else complicating and making production of US cars more expensive?

There's the one user who apparently got an allocation from Porsche of London. Crickets otherwise and I don't have anything to report.

So what, you're stirring the pot a little. Porsche still knows you're a good man.

US have high demand compare to the other models. As a made-up example, every thirty Porsche owners, 1 will want the GT3 model trim. Where as in some parts of ROW, it is less, 1 in 50 or 1 in 100.

US cars are not much more expensive, its one of the cheapest ones. Many European countries have a 5-15% premium in price compare to US. In Netherland, starting price for GT3 is 228k Euros, more than 50% more. Then if you go to Asia, starting price in some countries are 290k, 320k USD.

Its true US have intensive crash testing and emission testing. And I'm not talking about how strict the safety is or how low the emission, but how much repetitive testing to make "sure" its within limits. I can't comment on European testing as I don't know too much about it, so they may have very strict and long periods of intensive repetitive testing as well. However, these testing are for one time passing. Technically the more you produce, you dilute the cost of testing and such (crashing cars too).

Out of the 237k Porsche cars made and sold in the world per year, US accounts for a little over 1/4 of the total sales. It is pretty reflective of the 911R, GT3, and RS made for the world vs for US.

Lol!

Well,it was a tongue in cheek comment... I don't see a GT3 without a wing, but according to Chris3963 there will be a touring wingless pkg announced tomorrow.
