As an aside... where the hell do all these cars end up?? I mean... you rarely see them on the streets and there's only a handful at the track days I go to.
I wonder how many of them are just being flipped to people in the US or something at a profit never to be seen in these parts again?

Honestly I know a few guys who were late to the party and they were turned away at the door.. no deposit, no chance..
Pfaff was the last dealer to take deposits, last I checked (about 2 months ago) and they were at around 80 ppl on list at that time. so in that time 70 more people got onto their list... crazy!

From what my dealer told me and showed me on their system, the allocations given out so far are for build dates during 2017, up to and including December. They expected more allocations next quarter. (not sure when that is) They got 3 builds each month so far and expect the same numbers in the future allocations. The number a given dealer gets is somehow related to the number of 911's they sell.

Some one mentioned the next round of allocation will be handed out in September for the early 2018 build dates.

I am hoping to get one next year, around May for ED. I am on the LIST but no down payment was asked and I will only do it for MSRP. If I cannot get one, then I might go for another brand. It is really frustrating but that is how they play the game. This will be my 4th P and the 3rd one for this dealer and I am sure will not be the last one if everything works out as planned.

Didn't Pfaff get 75-90 991.1 GT3s.
PCO got under 30 991.1 GT3s according to the rep I spoke to a few weeks ago.
If you factor in the stop sale plus I'm sure Porsche wants to milk every dollar they can, so I see Pfaff getting a good amount of cars, they are a super high volume dealer for our area. Plus they just moved to their new location.
No more details on my allocation. Hopefully soon. I'm doing my best not to harass my sales rep. It's hard though, lol.
