The GT2RS doesn't have to be much more $$ if no LE.
Partsbin? Could be a GT3RS with active are adapted from TTS with TTS motor.
GT3RS $175K++
TTS $188K++
GT2RS should cost no more then $200-$225K

I took it off Lodi's hands...though he did have to pay me some $'s for the favor I did him by taking that RS piece of crud.

GT2RS will have a base price north of $250k and a decently optioned one will be around $300k.

GT2 RS price 6 years ago:
The GT2 RS feels like a track-day refugee, and with our testers bronze-colored wheels, fixed rear wing, and gaudy red-and-black Alcantara-lined interior, it looks like one, too. Factor in the $245,950 starting price (our examples black paint pushed the as-tested figure to $249,090), and this is a very focusedalbeit specialmachine of limited use.

No # 000 limited edition gt2rs. Same game as gt3/RS. Want early you need to know someone.
If you go to Goodwood? Maybe you can order 2? Get a group buy discount? 👍

you have 160k in your pocket
and so forced to choose between
a used 991.1 RS 4.0 Pdk
or a new .2 GT3 4.0 Pdk / Manual
this sets the .1 RS value
because if it would be true RS is the last
either .2 GT3 would be (and then guess production hyper extended ..)
and for the most, 2 carbon bumpers with a mag roof is not so special
not to mention the two engine comparison...
but you have the light RS badge on the back indeed...
not enough to spend over 160k

RS always command more $ even over faster or "better" GT3.
Engine difference not enough, in fact no where near enough difference. Most performance cars today are hydraulic valve trains. Even last Mezger was hydraulic. Power outputs are near identical on the 4.0s. New motor revs 400 rpm higer. Imho..Yawn.
It's not just the special components many of which you left out not least of all the entire body of the RS with its significantly wider front and rear tract and still greater aero but it comes down still to those two little letters. Just does.
