There's a vocal bunch that like to keep saying how much they hate it, but I'm sure many who like it don't feel the need to voice their opinion. I like the stripe, but concerned about its durability. Hate to have parts of the stripe rub off.
#2110
Anyone know the official reason for the change? My thought was so that they can get the third party supplier of the buckets to make them all the same and they do the inserts in the factory. Would make stock control easier. Note that the 4 ways / 18 ways don't have the stripe.

Its mainly the stylistic design change for the .2 model. They think people will like it more.
Whether or not they changed the design or just used the old design, the carbon buckets are still made the same from the supplier. Inserts like houndstooth, alcantara, or alcantara with stripe can just be installed separately for styles.

The old design required an integral part of the seat to have the model name stictched into them, which means you can't order generic stock from the supplier and add the model later. Could be the reason for the change?
