OFFICIAL 991.2 GT3 RELEASE *Confirmed 500HP 4.0 & Manual option*

Wow, already 40 pages in this thread!
I like the car, and may replace the 991.1 GT3 with one. Biggest attraction for me is the engine, which hopefully has the reliability issues sorted out.
But am I the only one who finds the front bumper cover, intakes, etc. kind of ugly? To me, that part of the car looks much better on the 991.1 GT3.

If that is the case, do all people who are 1st in line at their dealerships give up their allocation so the next one in line gets the PDK. Then in September, the 1st in line gets manual allocation first.
If so, wouldn't most US dealerships have tons of allocations until later this year as most people want a manual in US?

Hi all - I'm putting in a plug for a pdk car! I've owned two .1 GT3's and loved them both. I've driven manuals for almost 40 years with >100 days on track. I currently own a 981 Spyder which allows me to get my "driver involvement" fix. But for pure speed and ease of making the car do exactly what I want it to do exactly when I want it to - nothing beats pdk IMO. So I'll be glad to be one of the first owners who pass on a manual!

It does sound terrible, not much wrong with the audio other than some background hiss. Seems like all of the driving was raw video for use in marketing with sounds to be overlayed. Car doesn't sound like it gets above 4k RPM.

I had put three deposits down with three different dealers.
Got a call from two dealers for me to put my spec in. The one dealer I gave a nice spec that I like with white paint. The other dealer I am shooting for the fence. PTS, euro delivery heavy option.
My "plan" is to drive the white one, and IF/WHEN the PTS car comes through at a much later date....I can sell the white one. I got lucky last time with a PTS car, maybe not so much this time.
OH.. both cars at MSRP.
Third dealer crickets.

More likely that the dealership will take that pdk allocation that #1 on the list passed on and they can sell it on their lot at a mark up. Then the next allocation goes to #2 on the list. That's my guess

Am I the only who is exited about some of the new options that make the GT3 more livable? With the two most important new options being Bose Audio and a reversing camera.
Since Miami Blue is available I'm going to trade in my RS for one. Have been on the list since June/July 15. So definitely not first on the list, but since I'm getting PDK I hope I might get quite an early build.
