I use the Door Sticker to set cold Tire Pressures on Cup 2's, F29 psi, R33 psi. Normal Road driving will increase pressures 3-5 PSI. depending on how aggressively you are driving. Track Driving will increase pressures 5-7 PSI. My targets for hot pressures on track are F 32 psi and R 33 psi which seem to work best. Pressures will also vary with interior and exterior ambient temperates. Also the pressures on the Tires exposed to the sunlight will heat up and pressures will increase, often by several PSI.

Okay thanks!

The California Air Resources Board’s (ARB’s) Tire Pressure Regulation took effect in 2010, and requires automotive service providers to check and inflate each vehicle’s tires to the recommended tire pressure rating, with air or nitrogen, as appropriate, at the time of performing any automotive maintenance or repair service.

The purpose of this regulation is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles operating with under inflated tires by inflating them to the recommended tire pressure rating.

Max pressure from the manual, 36/44. Though when I picked my car up from service last week, the pressures were 39/46. And I forgot to check and didn't have my gauge. Was an awful ride home.

Yup, and they interpret the recommended tire pressure rating as the fully loaded car pressures in the manual, i.e., the upper limit. I've asked them to drop them, but they won't do it.

Oddly, whenever I buy new tires or have my snows swapped at America's Tire, they'll do whatever pressures I ask them to.

I'd be curious to see what they do here in Canada. I'll have to find out.

Hey guys, when you mention 29/32 cold, or 30/32 cold, is this based on the in-car data shown? The reason I ask is that I have a digital gauge and find a wide variance between what the car shows vs the gauge. I set the front to 29 with the gauge, but the in-car system shows 26 cold. Similar variance in the rear.

I also find a slight variance but not enough to be concerned.

Yeah, this is like 3 psi difference in the front. I drove it the past week and had a spirited GT3 therapy session, but the rear felt too soft. I will use the in-car to set the tire pressure, jacking it up a few PSI and see how it feels. Thanks guys.

Check the calibration of your gauge and replace it if it's off.

Hey Bryan. You mean the in-car gauge, right?

No. The hand held Rob. They are not necessarily calibrated. I have one gauge that matches in car, and another off 2 psi every time
