So, if it means me giving up my room and sleeping in the car with Sean's dog Gibson, I'm quite happy to do it as it'll free up a room!
I'll be canvasing more people today.

My fiance and I will be driving down from Michigan Thursday evening to arrive super early morning on Friday. The Indiana and Ohio folks are welcome to meet us en route.

That's me all by my lonesome in the mitt.

It's a couple fun dinners, a couple track days, an airstrip event and some amazing mountain roads. The evenings at the resort are an absolute blast.

Would love for some West Coasters to throw their cars on a transporter and spend the weekend with us! Any RL'ers interested PM me or Haku.

Dates are 4/21 - 4/24

Sean

I'm coming from the NYC area and heard there's a group shipping their cars. Still trying to figure who is organizing and if there's room but maybe DC is on the way....

Mayur and I worked late into the night last night starting to put people into rooms, working on logistics, etc. This will be the best yet. There are some incredible auction items. Lots of newcomers and we are past the size of last year's event.

Once we get everyone assigned to rooms, we will take inventory and see how many more we can fit (if any). It's going to be an incredible time!

We have hit our goal of 65 cars.

We did work late... but there were laughs aplenty! Laughing uncontrollably with the wife thinking I've gone completely doolally! I won't mention why we laughed so much but it did involve driving gloves

All those that take an interest and participate in the Smokies contribute to make this an event that is always so rewarding and fun. It brings people and friends together in a way that is unique and one which really goes beyond just another car event. Thank you all!

As Sean mentions, the Spring 2017 event is going to be a very special one!

Who would have thought that the get together a couple of years ago would have turned into such an epic event?

My brother is extremely disappointed he can't make it.
