Picking up my 600LT today. Excited and bummed at the same time since it's 16 degrees F outside right now. My MSRP somehow ballooned to $313K. Maybe went a little overboard with Carbon Fiber... Haha

i look forward to your initial thoughts on the car. I ordered a 600 LT (less carbon pieces than you but will not arrive until August. Currently have a GT2, but wanted to try something different. Based on current comments on this forum and what others have said, it seems to be a worthy competitor to the porsche GT2 or 3 RS.

Had some fun in this thing at INDE Motorsport Ranch in Az.
Extremely friendly to drive. Will have to do a shootout vs 600LT and GT2RS for track times soon. Can operate with one man crew, helps to have spare wheels and tires already mounted. You can get one day out of the Pirelli Slicks but will be the fastest thing on track unless there is a well driven 991.2 GT3 Cup.

2-5 seconds a lap faster than a GT3RS depending on the track

I would think that with a 'conservative' re-tune to 550-600HP, it would be even more unreal.

I had the chance to try a 570s with a great Mclaren sales guy in Milan.
The car is impressive: everything is on the right plance on the interior, the exterior look amazing and the engine and gearbox is fantastic.
The sound isn't great like the Porsche ad it seems a quite filtered experience. But depend of what you're looking for.
You can buy 2nd hand with 135K/euro in Europe, but there are some ownership costs to consider respect to a GT3/ RS.
- Taxes: In italy, due to the F****G taxes on sport car, it cost 1/2k more on yearly taxes.
- Same things with the insurance, due to some partnership btw porsche and HDI that drop price around 3K year, respect to the 5k of Mclaren.
- Extendend guarante is the same story: 3.7K/year for Mclaren, 1.5K for Porsche.
If I will have no yearly maintainance budget, I'll try to own 570s. Exclusive, great on track, fast and affordable for the tech specs that it mount (carbon fiber chassis, Motorsport engine, Graziano gearbox, etc)
But, as I'm a car lover and not a Millionaire, Porsche is the best choice: more market and interest (in case You need to sell it), less overall yearly costs, similar performance.

He's pretty emphatic about how much he likes the car and prefers it to the 675, 720 and gt3rs. Can't say I disagree!
