So "comfortable" as in "useless for the track or back-roads", and "200MPH" as in "useless, period"?
For folks for whom Turbo S is not fast or comfortable enough?

This market could use a crash or two.

when people wish ill upon all it makes no sense.

bugatti
pagani
koenigsegg

those are all cars for people who are bored of other stuff. but in reality all of those are cheaper than most of the good vintage cars.

550 spyder? 5M.
962 with good lemans history? 4-8m
corsa cliente ferrari F1? 3M plus 50-80k/ weekend

250 SWB comp coupe? 12M
F1? 15+

some cars are just preposterously expensive.
we should all appreciate that some of these car companies are at least not making boring *** vanilla cars.

Yea it's a great time to be into cars, so many options and most quite reliable and track worthy. Fun for touring or mountain passes or just a crazy desert run. Whatever you could want is out there and then some crazy Swede decides to buck the system or a major manufacturer decides to make a 16 cylinder engine......awesome. I'm looking at a Mercedes G550 4X4 Squared, a 1970's military vehicle with portal axles and a suede interior with diamond stitching.......what? It's just awesome out there and these companies are pushing Porsche and Mclaren and others to go off and make a 935 tribute along side a speedster and the Senna. It's super cool there are people building this stuff, the sound of the Pagani alone is worth admiring. Keep bringing the crazy.....I'm all in

Your jealously is very apparent. Unfortunate.

If I have to explain it to you, you would not understand. I want a Veyron and am out looking casually for one because they just aren't that "available" - you kind of have to settle for what's avail at the time.

I like that it goes 260+ miles per hour, even if *I* will personally not drive it that fast. It's about the potential, not the usage.

A prius fits my commuting needs but it doesn't make my dreams come true.

I finally got to take out a Chiron for a bit and after driving that...good lord does the want for a hyper-gt car get stronger. The thing did EVERYTHING you wanted it to, was super comfortable in traffic and then sh*t your pants fast basically any time you're not at a red light. If you have the means, I now TOTALLY get it.

Yea it just escalates everything. I had a chance to drive a P1 and said no....I know it would just destroy my opinion of every other car and then I'd have to sell my house and buy one. Better if I don't drive one of these beasts. I'll have to drive an LT soon and that will probably get me on the Macca bandwagon

I get where hf1 is coming from. Many others, including Porsche GT car owners like me, have expressed similar sentiments. The notion that hypercars can be properly exploited on public roads is fantasy.

… which is why our Porsche GT cars were bought mainly for track use. For road use, I find slower cars to be more fun.

this guy did a really good job conveying the emotion one feels driving the Senna. Even with P1 experience, this car simply scrambles your brain. I can't think of a car which has been made like this in many years.. again, maybe the F40 was this pure? if you're the type who doesn't care for anything except how a car "feels" when you drive, try to get a ride or a drive (or an allocation).. mclaren did something completely brave and singularly focused with this car. I remain in complete lust, more than a month after my drive in one.
Driving a Senna is the equivalent of finding the Best Dim Sum in a hole in the wall where the restaurant owner yells at her teenage daughter while the teenage daughter is browsing IG posts of Kpop boy bands.

Love the purity.. .but damn sometimes I like my dumplings in a nice ambiance.
