While not for many of us here I bet that the technical practicality and usability of a Porsche GT3 and GT4 are not valued that high with a majority of sports car buyers.
For starters that includes the NSX and the lowest level McLaren (currently 570). Aston Martin ganging up with Mercedes might go in that direction with the DB11. Ferrari has multiple "practical" coupe offerings with more than zero aero that could be interpreted as something between a 911 turbo and a gt3, including rear wheel steering, naturally aspirated engine, alcantara etc.
In the GT4 field Lotus is making noises again. Aston Martin will probably redo the Vantage within the timeframe of the 991.2. BMW and Toyota could slam a wing on the Z5. Fiat could decide to offer bargain GT cars by beefing up a Maserati, without compromising the Challenge and Scuderia labels of the Ferrari brand.

I have a hunch that the people who plan and make the cars at Porsche and Ferrari do not approve of the sales, quantity and marketing games played afterwards. But that doesn't buy anybody much - the true sense of the word.

GT3 without a wing makes as little sense as a RS without a big wing. It's an essential part of the identity of the car. Plenty of other wingless options from Porsche ...

Not sure what final time will be they report officially but I've heard some pretty impressive times so far from some Motorsports personnel. They have a history of reporting a fluff time that is slightly slower than actually fastest time put down. Of course occasionally the test day/s (a late pre-production unit in final spec) available don't provide the best weather conditions even over multiple days so I'm guessing they will piece together some computer aided sections combined with actual timed sections to give a final reported estimated time as is common practice now even if weather isn't great.
