The car looks compelling, and the price seems fair. Engine seems even better than RS and R, better steering software, improved suspension and damping, more downforce, and most importantly, lots of upgrades to improve engine reliability.
I had planned to stick with my 991.1 GT3, but this has me seriously considering upgrading to the 991.2 (though, to my eye, the 991.1 may still look better).
With manual now being offered, prices on 997 GT3 and RS have to go down.

Configuration done, order in, delivery confirmed for July.
And for you manual romantics, production of manual cars does not start until September. Oh, and touring version is coming.

Agree. RS prices should reduce to MSRP by this fall, and 997 RS prices will drop to more normal levels with the 6 speed manual in the .2 GT3.
I too feel that the .1 GT3 looked better cosmetically, but I do appreciate that 90% of the cosmetic changes are functional and the car has 20% more dowonforce, as much as a 997 RS.
I will get a .2 GT3 to replace my current car, but in the second year of .2 GT3 production. No need to rush to replace my current car, which is incredible.

Standard equipment lists "Bi-Xenon™ headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)" and it's also available for $780 under the exterior options. What's the difference?
