Press release shows PDK is standard, although we're still not 100% sure if the manual is a no-cost option or if there's some twist to the story. My guess goes towards the former. If I'm wrong, this will likely be the first time in Porsche's history that the manual option is pricier than the PDK (within the same model), which I highly doubt will turn out to be true. Though who knows... in an oddball of a move, it may be a nod to the range-topper R.
Agree that the RS prices will suffer the most and should hopefully end the ridiculous RS markups over MSRP.

Also very curious to see if there will be an extra charge for the manual or PDK.

Lot's of good news here guys. I'm guessing the LWFW might not be available or you would think the press release would've stated that. In a few hours we'll know for sure.

why are people so upset about the LWFW? it's not like you can't put one in afterwards. The tranny will be the same as the R.

I really wanted a manual Gt3. The 4.0 is a bonus in my mind. Naturally aspirated manual will be a pleasure to drive.

I will have an allocation, and I wont pay over MSRP

Still betting it will be an option. Aside from manual gearbox and seats, the press release didn't mention any options...

GT3 has never had a performance item change on model year (just LWB availability is the closest thing)

Agree - why would they not give this as an option. They will certainly charge for it so I expect it will be available

With the GTS 3.8 motor, they really can't call it an RS. An improved 9A1 engine is just a new GT4.
