My GT3 showed up in Rhode Island just at the stop sale went out (2/2014) so I got it 8/22/2014 with a fresh E engine.
It's my daily driver (75 miles/day) and autocross car. I started getting CELs in the Winter 2016 with mid-20s thousand miles every time I rev'ed it beyond about 8000 rpm in 3rd. But, the stupid OBD kept saying "secondary air system." It spent a LOT of time, at the dealer, trying to fix the wrong problem. By the end of August/beginning of September, it started throwing engine misfire, cylinder #4, any time I rev'ed it beyond about 8000 rpm in any gear. Then, it got new cylinder heads at the same time it got it's 36,000 mile service. I'm at 41,600 miles and she's running great. I think it's good for another 100k, now.
I'm 5th on the waiting list, at a smaller dealer, for a 991.2 (and my SA doesn't think one of the people ahead of me will take a car). So, I'm expecting to replace it, in 2019, at almost the exact time it's 5 years old and has the 100,000 miles on it I'm hoping it stays trouble free because a couple of friends have expressed interest in it.
2015 Original owner, 10/14 build with 4,500 miles, F engine. 2,000 mile Porsche recommended break in and all service up to date. No track and other than thermostat replacement zero problems. I will keep this beautiful car for a long time.
Original owner 2015 15k km no mechanical or engine problems. Thanks PAG for a wonderful car! I say that despite having lived through the stop sale etc.
Got my 2016 last December. It has been a garage queen even though that was not my intention. My problem is a fear of parking lots. Maybe because of not wanting dents and scratches a little. The bigger problem is that I could cause larger damage running it up against a curb. I plan to add parking cameras to take care of that problem.
I really need to drive it more. At this rate, it'll take years to break in the engine. Even taking it up to 4,000 rpm, this car is intense. I may be crazy but I even like down shifting when slowing down just to hear the sound.

Get that car broken in, b/c if you think 4K rpm is intense, 9K will knock your socks off, and then you'll wonder why you waited so long.
Original owner of one of the late 15' PTS gt3s. I have been too
busy moving from the Kalifornia Republic back to the United States
proper (in this case Arizona) to actually start driving it much. So
only 750 miles on the odo so far! But hopefully the Scottsdale
home garage, plus the newly acquired 'Toy Barn' car condominium
nearby, will be soon decorated with all of my automotive memorabilia
...and I can start driving the Porsches again!
Saludos,
Eduardo
Presently in a wet & cold Seattle!

I love how you even have your upper deck in your car condo painted Signal ??? green!!!
I still have my 2015 GT3, now at 11,000kms, 4 track days and no problems so far. I will admit to thinking of selling her a couple of times when my rational brain kicks in but I am emotionally attached to her since this was my dream car ordered to my specs.
2015 delivered on Thanksgiving of 2014. 9000 miles. Only one track day (I seem to work most weekends). Thermostat replaced about six months ago. Other than that it's been trouble free and REALLY enjoyable.

Reason: Wrong mileage
