Wheelbase 2516mm for RSR vs 2456mm for GT3 RS. So roughly 2.4" longer in mid-engine configuration. That's about what I calculated a month back from testing photos.

As was I.

The Ford GT has not been particularly strong in WEC performance, absent the farcical, heavy-handed, and insultingly obvious BOP shenanigans at Le Mans, and they are not the "car to beat" in either series.

Nevertheless, the presumption that BOP will execute a sudden about face and begin effectively neutralizing any differences between powertrain configurations next year beggars belief.

Any ideas of what chassis they are homologating against or what new model will get this chassis? Previous RSR was the 991C4.

Well, I certainly would differ to you as you have always seemed to provide good Porsche Motorsports info around here. You sound like you have larger issues with BOP than most. All I know is I watched 2 IMSA races and 4 WEC races in their entirety this year and they were not competitive. Far from class leading..

while it looks a bit like a photoshopped squashed Giulia (not a bad thing).. i think I would take this over the Maserati sibling. It's truly gorgeous, not really an SUV, but who's counting anymore.

Damn, that's quite an advertisement!

Agree with Alex, that I'd take this over the Maserati if I was shopping for SUVs. Will be interesting how much SUV market share they can take from Porsche. Porsche is just killing it with their SUV sales.

Ahhh the executive hybrid whales. So is this what some stealers will force their customers to buy to get a .2GT3 or .2GT3RS at MSRP?

Porsche may have to buy my Cayenne Diesel back, this looks to be a handy replacement...
