I guess I should be happy my porsches did not make it on the list. Otherwise if it did, they wont be driven anymore.

My favorite didn't make the list, 73 RSR 2.8L street version (308hp @ 8,000 rpm), 917 4-piston brakes, ~2,000 pounds, 9" & 11" Fuchs, Kugelfischer Mechanical Fuel Injection, etc...

And of that list, or any list for that matter, the greatest 911 ever produced and the absolute holy grail of 911 Porsches when all factors are taken into account, is the RS 4.0.

Agree with this. Considering all factors, as you say, the 997 RS 4.0 is the holy grail and best 911 of all time.

If I had the $ and didn't have an injury that prevents me from driving a clutch, the RS 4.0 would be the top 911 variant I'd want to own.
