Default Swapping Seats (?)
Hello forums members and fellow Porsche enthusiasts,

I have the fixed bucket seats and find them hard to use on a daily. I was planning on swapping my seats w the standard OEM ones but have noticed they're different from the Turbo S seats. I don't see lumbar and other adjustments. Is it possible to swap w the Turbo S Seats instead of OEM GT3 seats?

Gt3 seats come three versions:

Buckets
4 ways
18 way (same as turbo)

So yes.

Awesome, Thanks! Do you happen to know if it is possible to go from buckets to 18 way. Some tell me you can go from 4 way or 18 way to buckets but not the other way around.. hm

Can't answer your question, but I am sure someone will be happy to take your buckets for their 18 ways.

I know for a fact you could make the switch in 997.2 RS Was plug and play.

I believe it's the same with 991. But not as certain.

The 997.2 switch was pretty straight forward. You lost seat memory when installing 18 ways into the bucket equipped car. I believe someone on here has made the switch.

Yes, you can absolutely swap your LWB's for a set of 18-way sofa's.
