I love this idea as I just had to pay $1200 for my 12000 mile service.
My only question is warranty. I thought the 4 year warranty depends on you doing the recommended service at the recommended intervals via your Porsche dealer?
I'd hate to blow an engine on the track and not be compensated due to performing my own 12,000 mile service.

As far as I know, in the US, the dealer/manufacturer cannot deny a warranty claim because maintenance was done by the owner or an independent repair shop instead of by the dealer. That said, I do have some things done by the dealer like tire balancing, alignment, etc. And I'll probably bring the GT3 in for the 12,000 mile service minus the spark plugs.

Very helpful write-up. Changed plugs today on my 2015. Torx fittings were T30 not T27, not sure if '14 differs from '15. Was able to fit small torque wrench; torqued plugs to 17 ft. lb.

Thanks!
EDIT - found the Bosch data and theirs are gapped to 1.0mm. I assume same as Porsche ones...

Also, I see that the Part Number for the 2018 GT3 is one higher 99917015391 - wonder if Bosch has a new cross reference? The Bosch data mentions both numbers at the bottom of the data sheet under "Comparisons"...
Suncoast sells the .2 GT3 version for $147 vs. $138 for the .1 GT3 versions

Oh, man! Now I have to add another thread to my subscribed threads!
LOL. Thanks!!
Now, if only someone can post a DIY on changing the center bolts, hub and rear bearings for the 6K "circuit driving" maintenance, I'd be set!

Get a small flat head screwdriver and place it in the small rectangular hole, with the tip of the screwdriver towards the back of the connector. Pry the little tab up very very gently : you will feel it move slightly. In the same time push the connector in(not out)...like you are trying to plug it in...then pull out.
Good luck!

Great write-up! I'm sure nobody here would mess it up, but I just thought I'd mention that with Aluminum heads, you really don't want to cross-thread the plug. So be patient and make sure you have the threads aligned (sometimes helps to slowly reverse-rotate the plug until you feel the plug seat into the threads before tightening in the correct, clockwise, direction).
