Had it for a long time and no problems whatsoever. Mostly track usage.

I bought mine from Suncoast and didn't even look at the part No, just that if fitted my .1 RS, has been on track and still looks great and made a difference in stability.

No cutout on mine, 3 track days and driving in vegas heat with no issues thus far. You’ll forget it’s even there lol. Haven’t scraped it yet either.

Is the 991.2 GT3 Diffuser the same like on the 911 R?

I noticed on the 991.2 GT3 they come with a diffuser which may is identical to the R part.

My goal is to install the diffuser on my 991.1 GT3.

Thank you

991.2 lower rear diffuser won’t work on 911.1 GT3 I’ve tried. You will need the 911R lower diffuser to work on your 991.1. Mine fit without any trimming or modifications. Trimming is only needed depending on what header set up you are running. Below is a picture of my .1 GT3 with 911R lower diffuser.

Thank you for the information Thats a shame, .2 Diffusers goes for like 250€, R´s not under 550€ but seems is have to bite the bug.

Nice setup btw!

Is that the new mini crack pipe exhaust? Please do post vids with the sound when you get a chance.
Looks like an epic setup.

I do know that the 991.2 GT3RS Diffuser fits onto the 991.1 GT3RS. but the only the outer 6 screw holes line up 100%.

Even though it has no 'cut out' fir the cooling fins and the centre 4 fixing holes do not align correctly, it seems very secure.
my opinion is the 6 screws ( 3 either side ) is more the capable to hold the diffuser safely in place.
Ive done trackdays and general driving around without and over-heating or the diffuser flying off!
By the way, my guess is the 991R Diffuser has the same fittings as the 991.1 GT3 and the 991.2 GT3/RS is the same except for the centre 4 holes placement.

hope this helps from someone that actually has the part fitted to their car.
Late reply but I'm wondering if you had any issues so far?
I specifically ordered the 911R diffuser for my .1 3RS from Chandler porsche and they sent me the .2 RS diffuser in error. Pain in the *** to ship it back so I'm tempted to make it work as you did.

Never had a problem with temp or coming loose or anything, even very hot tracks.

Sold my 991.1RS with it without on, still have my original metal one in a box.
