This link convinced me to order one, delivery next week.... They've had no issues with the cooling fins being covered. https://motoiq.com/project-porsche-991-gt3-rs-improving-the-aero-with-a-911r-rear-diffuser/3/

Any feedback about it? Not enough benefit to justify the ground clearance? Annoying to do oil changes?

I bought one - I know I'm faster everywhere at the track because my wallet is $500 lighter.

There's no difference in access for oil change, etc. between this and the stock engine cover. Easy to deal with either.

Neither, I have no complaints on the diffuser and would have kept it if I hadn't sold my car. However, I got a 2019 RS which has the diffuser already on it.

That's a much better story for selling it--most of the time when you see someone selling an optional part the assumption is they were not happy with it.

Looks like it would be easy to do the swap yourself as well for any 991.1 GT3?

I love mine and you need to be careful with speed bumps. In rainy days you can really tell the difference in the vortices.

very late reply, but hope it helps someone !

I do know that the 991.2 GT3RS Diffuser fits onto the 991.1 GT3RS. but the only the outer 6 screw holes line up 100%.

Even though it has no 'cut out' fir the cooling fins and the centre 4 fixing holes do not align correctly, it seems very secure.
my opinion is the 6 screws ( 3 either side ) is more the capable to hold the diffuser safely in place.
Ive done trackdays and general driving around without and over-heating or the diffuser flying off!
By the way, my guess is the 991R Diffuser has the same fittings as the 991.1 GT3 and the 991.2 GT3/RS is the same except for the centre 4 holes placement.

hope this helps from someone that actually has the part fitted to their car.

I know this is an old thread but has anyone been able to use this diffuser on the standard 991.1..based on this thread it's a direct volt on for the gt3s but wanted to see if it's been successfully put on a standard 3.8

If anyone decides to do this mod and wants to sell their spare 991.1 GT3 engine tray, please PM me. I'd be interested in picking it up.

I've been on a couple of web site and can not tell what one is what. What is the difference with these 2 part #'s? What one should fit a 991.1 GT3?

Any update on long term usability without the cutout and temps/PDK performance?
Perspectives on drivability/speedbumps etc?

Thank you in advance
