Default CXX Options on 991GT3/RS cars

Step one: allocation
Step two: PTS
Step three: CXX

Who knows from which CXX options on 991GT3/RS cars?

I remember the 12 o´clock steering wheel mark in another color is around 1.000€/$ net. A RL fellow does have it and posted also a pic of it which i do not find right now.

Whats about painted rims? I seen some of them. How much are does? I guess around 5k
Some guys got the liveries like the one from the 997.1RS? price?
or special stiching?
or painted body parts?
Did somebody seen already CXX painted calipers?

Porsche Stuttgart guys are visiting several GER dealers to teach regular sales guys / improve the existing "Exklusiv-sales-guys" (in GER PTS&CXX is running below the term "Exklusiv").
My feeling is that they trying to improve the whole communication / to push the CXX sales.

Porsche dealers near Salzburg are interesting to talk to - based on a lot of Piech/Porsche familie members in that area - there will come an RS with around 140k in CXX

One thing that has never been clear to me is whether CXX options are tied to PTS ; that is can these options be specified on a car if you can't get PTS ? It looks like my number is coming up , but I don't think PTS will be part of the equation . Would be nice to do some customization even if I can't get the color I want .

CXX is definitely available without any dependency on PTS.

^ Correct. Stitching, painted parts (except calipers, not available under any circumstance), stickers, etc. all can be had with lead time and $$$ even if no PTS allocation. Only thing I think you couldn't get would be a PTS painted part.

PCNA is also rolling out Porsche Exclusive training to sales guys this year, so I'm sure they'll be much more open about what is on offer.

Hope so. Most of the salespeople I talk to want nothing to do with CXX and I find myself having to educate them...

There is no CXX list, nor does Exclusive want one distributed it would seem. In fact, if you ask them what CXX options there are, they demur. Instead, how it works is that you are meant to request things from them and then they will tell you if it is possible. But you have to initiate that.

FWIW, I did get the 12 o'clock steering wheel marker in yellow. See https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-thread-4.html, post #57, for instance. It was much more than €1K. (Generally this stuff costs more than it should be worth. That is also a barrier to customers, aside from the opacity of the whole program.)

Also others have gotten things like painted wheels, deviating door pulls, deviating stitching, embossed logos, custom decals (including in deviating colours--ask NateOZ), deviating wing end plates, extra leather bits (ask anonymous918), deviating side mirrors, etc.

I do believe deviating brake calipers are not permitted, even though this may have been done very rarely in the past (eg. silver for 918). Eduardo has written a post on this somewhere.

OP, what are you interested in specifically?

For my order here in Europe, I was told that no PTS for sure for these last allocations. Asked for spoiler Porsche decal and door GT3 RS decals and dealer said no. Didn't think of it as a big issue, will order separately when car arrives. Was declined in painting the rollcage to match the belts too, this would have been nice instead of doing it afterwards...

As others have said, CXX options are independent of
PTS. Naturally, CXX options with PTS content can't
be ordered unless you got a PTS allocation to begin
with!

I custom ordered a MY2012 987 Boxster Spyder with
CXX options & no PTS.

This was my first personal contact with this unusual set
of available options on a Porsche as an ordering customer
(although I had previously owned 356s from 1960's with
custom options installed at factory by special request &
appearing on the official Kardex).

So I started posting about it here on Rennlist back in
2011, which was quite early & before we really got
going on systematically shedding some of the vails
of the PTS & 'Porsche Exclusive' program!

Although I never saw a list compiled, I was privy to some
private customer email exchanges that mentioned CXX option
& prices ( in US $) for the 991 .1 gt3 RS. For example:

"The cost to do the custom RS wheels in Lava Orange is $4490
and the wheels need to be selected in Silver which is a normal
option listed in the configurator at a cost of $325. The reason
for this is that they are done by hand after the car has completed
the standard production. It normally adds about 10 days to the
build process, but the finish is more than 1st class! Our team
in the specialized Exclusive Manufaktur department handles this
and they are the same group that takes care of all our VIP Porsche
Exclusive builds!
"

And

"
Re: Mirrors & Stripes...The pricing I received on the above was
over the phone. It was $1,295 for orange mirrors on a white car
and I believe $495 for the gt3rs stripes.
"

***

There is even a list of CXX options for the 911R!

To my knowledge, not presently allowed! You & I had a
previous exchange on this subject.

PCNA in the US has also been trying to make an effort
(some say 'half-assed') to improve dealer knowledge on
'Porsche Exclusive'...I have talked about this in the past
in my threads & will try to copy here when I identify them.

My RS is being built in June and Porsche Exclusive is doing the 997 RS Script Logo on the sides for $1185. I inquired about various seat options and was told it's $7,855 to change the seat cushions and do custom piping. I passed on the seat options and felt it was too pricey. My experience was very good dealing with Melissa at P.E. in Atlanta. You pretty much bypass the salesperson and deal with her directly once you have your order number. She adds your options to the order and then fills in the salesperson.

On my latest GT4 I got mirrors, stripe, wing tips all painted or sticker from factory CXX. On my 911R i got PTS wheels.

Was denied PTS for both cars so had to make due with what was left over.

Wheels were $4780 which is really high but hey it's a 911R. So, yolo.

I also had a bunch of cxx options added to my rs build. Its not cheap but...

I think a lot of it is dependent on your dealers willingness to work with you/knowledge of how the ordering process works. My dealer is awesome when it comes to crazy options...
