We both know AWD cars have been dominating this event for years (as they do in every form of rallying). Indeed, if my memory serves me, you had a go in a TTRS.

In my view, and as a former Tasmanian the event lost its shine when they substantially changed a large number of stages 5 or 6 years ago (perhaps more, how many classes have they got up to now 40 ~ 50? 60 ~ 70). Still a great event but missing something. Good to see that Jim Richards still holds a torch for it and is still competitive.

Good luck with your new car , I hope it stays dry for you. In the wet its a tough gig particularly on the west coast............
