I disagree, I sold my 2RS because it was too fast on the street to enjoy safely.
For me there is a minimum amount of time I want to be pushing a car to get satisfaction. In a 2RS I was going warp speed before my mind had gotten fully satisfied. As a track weapon the 2RS is the best no doubt. For the street it is a GT3 Touring or a 3RS with some upgraded vocal chords from Dundon or JCR for the win
But hey everyone is different.

Yup I agree. I mostly like Naturally Aspirated, but the 2RS is simply amazing! When you drive the 2RS, you have to look farther forward when you're getting on the throttle of the 2RS because it is that FAST.

550 ft lbs of torque at 2500rpm on vs 330 ft lbs at 6250rpm... I have a real hard time understanding how that makes for turbo lag. At any rpm and from any speed, the GT2RS has substantially more pull than any of the other 991 GT cars I've owned. The MP4 12C had turbo lag but that's the last car I've experienced it in on street or track.
Guys, the 2RS is a great car no doubt and sounds great for a turbo... it’s the best turbo I have heard frankly.

I have owed a 2RS and there is lag. Not the same as an old school turbo but it is there.
You hear the blow off very easily on the stock exhaust which I think is cool, but that screams turbo.

Speaking of sounds, still trying to familiarize myself with those of the 2RS.
Do any owners have an actuator type sound coming from under the engine after shutting the car off?
It almost sounds like the exhaust valves are flipping but that's not it cause they don't move when it does it.
It happens almost immediately after I shut off the car, and then does it a few more times over the next few minutes.
Even if I don't start the car, if I open the door which turns on the electrics, when I close the door it will do it a few times over the next few minutes.
Anyone else have this and/or have any idea what it is?
It was not present in my other 991 GT cars.
Thanks
