991 GT2RS

Those manual GT3 RSs that are selling for $500k mainly because there are only 600 in the world. Look how the 997 4.0 GT3RS outperformed the price appreciation of the 997 GT2RS even there were only 500 of them sold. More people prefer NA vs turbo, including me and I've owned a Supra Turbo and a 996TT.

"It was also confirmed that the forthcoming 911 GT2 RS is to be powered by a 650bhp twin-turbocharged engine, making it the most powerful 911-production car to come out of Weissach. Porsche Motorsport engineers had toyed with a 700bhp version of the engine, but cooling issues forced them to reduce the power output."
Interesting. So they're limiting power (probably not opting to go up a turbo size to keep it drivable). I wonder how much boost they're running to make the 650.

The more they curtail boost the higher they can push redline in theory. 8,000rpm anyone?
I just hope 992 RS follows 991 RSR template.

Total 911 claim 650hp and 7:05 Ring time (theoretical) from Porsche:

Ring time just parroting what others (Auto Express) have already posted but HP claim is new. 30% HP bump over GT3 RS from an under-stressed motor works for me.
