I'm not affirming anything, but either the 996 and 997 gt2 were able to 'meet' the limit of the counter, will this one be as able? 400 would be a hell of a feat.
There's absolutely no way this car will be able to go 249MPH.
Modern fuel systems generally hold up very well (since most gasoline has 10% Ethanol now anyway). My Evo has had no issues whatsoever without any change to fuel system - besides higher capacity fuel injectors and fuel pump). 11 years and 90k miles...
Old cars generally hate alcohol in fuel (even the E10 that is everywhere) - they have many rubber lines and fittings that disintegrate). But any car newer than 10 years typically does not suffer from this.
10% Ethanol on the 4G63 is fine (I used to run it on my Evo too) but E85 is another animal.
I have seen an 4G63 engine on E85 with clogged injectors and when pulled apart, excessive deposit formation inside the engine.
Apparently an engine running on E85 is very sensitive (much more so than straight gasoline) to how the vehicle was driven with regards to the rate and level of deposit formation.
