It s not just in US... It s the same in France and Europe so I think it s the same in the ROW... You can do WP or PTS but impossible to do WP + PTS since 2 weeks. I did WP + PTS 1 month ago and it was ok but now impossible...

Dealers says they will fix this time but if they told Porsche the car is tracked Porsche would blame the air flow beating it up. Geesh.....pisses me off....they will let us run in the rain with windows up now but not in the dry...WTF?!?!?!
You would think that for $730 the optional CF window triangles would have the raised trailing edge that addresses the buffeting.

Why would Porsche send a car to the US to use as a display with a titanium cage when they know there's no way for us to get it??....what a tease!

Would they allow you to drive if you put an extra safety film on the windows to avoid the glass all over the track if you crash ? Do they force you to use the net then when you drive with driver window open ?

Not sure, but the "logic" behind the windows-down may be 1) point-bys and 2) "safety" cause they won't have to break a glass to get you out of the car after a crash. Neither makes sense to me. The rule was probably devised before airbags even existed.

That is a thing of beauty. Can't believe someone hasn't replicated this in the States yet.

Not for DE and heaven forbid you barrel roll and your arms are flipping out the open window.

Someone do PTS matching the gold wheels
Just got off with a Certified Porsche Auto shop here that can paint my wheels in 539 Weiss Gold - which is the color. They said to wait for the Spring to do it. Car is put away any way but first thing going to do in April is to have my wheels repainted in this color. Going to look great

I did a similar color, via powder coat... called 'Titanium Gold'.

Best Regards,
Dave

Not feeling this gold color vs the silver on the gt3/rs wheels. Doesn't look/feel like the BBS gold centers which work great on the older gt cars. Maybe it's the wheel design, or the finish...

Pics unfortunately don't do it justice... looks so much better in person you can see the different shades... and it's just the lighting and my iphone case to be honest.

It's a perfect match to GT2RS, which I really prefer that look vs. the black or aluminum. But that's why their are so many choices.

Best Regards,
Dave

Lighter color than those and satin finish is killer

I think that the more "BBS-like" design of the gt2rs wheels has something to do with it, as well -- at least for me.
