I have the 18 ways even on my SV Roadster went with comfort seats it's the only way to use these cars - comfortable and supportive enough for track duty.

The Porsche buckets are not for guys like me 6'2 215 or larger - when I bought my RS thought it needed buckets had owners on here begging to swap or me sell them my seats after driving in them no way would I not order 18 way seats.

Hè?
I think the buckets are huge.
6’4” and 260 here. I’m comfortable in them.

The 18 ways are very comfy and offer crazy leg room though..

I was starting to think the GT2RS was just for the factory guys to drive around with and have fun.

Seb74, I've watched some of your track videos. If you get a 2RS, who are you going to play with on the track? I think you're just going to drive around everyone.

Crazy leg room is all I read

Daily use wearing a suit Saturday night with the wife makes them a whole lot more usable and they offer great support.

The guys buying the 18w are planning on spinning the odo.

Buckets are venti sized these days. Wish they offered the folders in the US. Had them on the Leipzig beater and thought they were perfect.

Buckets are sized to accommodate a variety of physiques.

I have sat in all of the bucket seats over the years:

996 GT3 / Dumbo Seats
997 GT3 / Carrera GT Seats
997 GT2 / Folding Seats

The old buckets seemed to lock the driver in at the hips and permit more upper body movement, whereas the new ones seem to cradle the entire torso. The Huracan Performante buckets are also very similar to the 991 buckets.

That would be logical, considering that all the other seats can be adjusted.

Allocation for a November 2018 build confirmed. Didn't expect to get one although first on list after VIP and came earlier than I thought it might, if it would. Not sure if that makes it a '19, probably not. My '16 RS was a December 2016 build delivered in February 2017.

Good for you! Over a year out. Man, that's some kind of wait. Based on the build date, I'd guess MY '19

If you don't mind my asking, have you negotiated a price yet? MSRP or MSRP+

Hi guys I am new on this forum. I come from France ( forgive my english pls ) and I have an allocation for the gt2 rs. I saw that you didn't know if the numbers of gt2rs will be 2000 or 3000. It's 2000 ( 1900 ) and 600 for US normally. There is 186 porsche center in US so if it was 1000 for US, it means around 6 gt2rs per center and it s impossible . Big porsche centers in US will have 5 max like in France and little center will 1 or 2.

it's really cool to find so much passionate on a forum, there is no forum like that in France...
