Can somebody give more examples on up-side-down dampers on road cars? I do know what they are and everyting - but as example on road cars only my Caterhams come in my mind regarding up-side-down. Next to Trophy Trucks, Rallye Cars, Buggies and dedicated Race/Endurance cars...
If we add also push and pull rod systems - the Aventador or Carrera GT push rod system has also a setup were the damper-piston / the smaller part in terms of weight / in advance to the unsprung mass is wheel-sides.

Burning Brakes
The CF vents on the fender seem to protrude out beyond the fender. My guess is to push the air out over the opening to create room for the escaping air to have a way out. At or above about 120-130ish mph, the air will actually go backwards and get sucked into the opening and not let the escaping are out quite as easily without them. This addresses that issue. I also really like the look of the two air scoops on the rear decklid, which are probably bare CF (hopefully). I think it looks absolutely awesome, but will look even better in bright colors. Guards Red will look amazing I bet. As a fan of the Forza series, I think this was an awesome, unique and totally unexpected way of revealing the GT2RS! It's also helping build the brand to gamers and tech types. Very smart plan by Porsche if you ask me! I can't wait to hear the specifics and a review of the car! I'm also very curious as to how many will be built!

don't get me wrong - but for me this was a poor launch.
viewing angles, exposure, stage, generally the pictures... it would have deserved a better one.
further on: i would have prevered a new color combo and more aggressive looks.
somehow i feel to prefer the look of the .1 GT3RS.
lets wait for more pics and technical stuff.

Agree with the .1GT3RS looks, mostly the rear end, they really riced the shait out of it.
